Fabulous tasting smoothie

Ingredients
1/2 a pineapple
1banana
2fresh dates or a desert spoon of maple or agave syrup
1/3 pt of almond milk
1/2 inch chunk of fresh ginger
1 tsp of turmeric
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1tsp coconut oil

Method
Put all ingredients into a blender and wizz until smooth
If it's too thick add more almond milk or water

How to Construct any Raw Soup


Here's a fail safe way to make a yummy raw soup. I'm hungry just thinking about it.. 

Component 1:  Any watery veg because they blend easily, remember to keep mostly red or green or it’ll look horrid
E.g. Tomato, Courgette, Celery, Red pepper, Romaine lettuce, Spinach, Chard
Component 2: Water
Thin out soup with water
Component 3: Citrus juice
Lemon, lime
Component 4: Salty seasoning:  
Salt (I like Himalayan) or miso (white is milder)
Component 5: Pungent seasoning
Fresh herbs, onion, garlic, cayenne pepper
Component 6: Oil
E.g. soaked nuts, seeds or an avocado or coconut oil, hemp oil, flax oil etc…

Energy Boost Smothie

This is a lovely, easy to make all day treat.. and it's good for you - win win

1 handful of goji berries (soaked overnight in water)
12 cashew nuts
1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon of macca
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 tablespoon of maple or agave syrup

throw everything in a blender and wizz till smooth

and I'm going to make one right now...

Raw Vegan Mayo


For 6 -8 servings you will need
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup water, plus additional to thin, if necessary
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon light agave syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Get the lot in the blender and pour over salad... delicious I tell thee

Why not try this delightful raw fruity porridge..

  1. Grate a sweet apple into a bowl of porridge oats
  2. Add a handful of raisins
  3. Cover with almond, soya hemp or (if you must) cows milk
  4. Place in the refrigerator overnight 
  5. Eat in the morning.... if you like serve with your favorite fruit.... delicious and nutritious

A stunning green smoothie

You will need
5 frozen strawberries
1 banana
2 peeled kiwi fruit
1 ripe mango
A handful of spinach leaves
Pure water to thin to your desired consistency 

Method
Pop all ingredients in the blender and wizz for a couple of minutes for a groovy green guzzle... mmmmm

Beautiful Maca...

Maca.. oh my God this is a wonder food you just have to try it! Maca is THE great ‘superfood’ coming out of Peru. Maca is a radish-like root that is generally sold in its dried powdered form.
It doesn’t look (or taste) very exciting on its own but if you make a shake with it using any kind of milk i.e. cows, coconut milk, soya, almond or hemp milk.. add some vanilla essence and a spoonful of honey (or maple syrup or agave syrup) you will probably enjoy this powerful medicine. .. for an extra boost I've been adding about a tablespoon of raw cacao power  which makes it taste just amazing.
Maca has been used as an immunostimulant, for anaemia, to stop bone-mineral loss, enhance memory, fight stomach cancer, as well as to alleviate depression, menstrual disorders, menopause symptoms, sterility and other reproductive and sexual disorders.Maca increases overall vigour (especially sexual stamina and appetite).
